Introduced in 2002, the Velocity kit started as an additional choice in our entry level; offering students a slightly more compact kit. With the punch and snap of kit that could be tuned a bit higher, it also gave club drummers an inexpensive way to add a more transportable traveling kit for gigs when their expensive kit might not be necessary.

This year, our jazz-size Velocity 5 pc. kit moves uptown; with major hardware upgrades. The new medium-duty 84 Series replaces the previously included entry-level hardware. Stylish B-3 tear drop shaped lugs and chrome SP-183N 8 lug snare drum add more reliable tuning, and shimmering good looks too.
